At Minster Veterinary Centre, we have 6 practices in Nottinghamshire, ensuring we’re easily reachable for all pet owners. Our longest-standing vet clinic in Southwell was purpose built in 1998 but the practice dates back to the First World War, making us one of the most experienced practices in the area. Our Southwell surgery houses three consulting rooms, two surgical theatres, a wide range of modern imaging equipment and recently upgraded in house laboratory facilities, as well as being the base for livestock and equine departments and poultry service. Our BVA certified ophthalmologist is based from our Southwell surgery, please follow the advice on the eye referrals page for booking appointments for any BVA work. Referrals are taken and should be organised through your primary care vets.
We aim to be the best-equipped practice in Southwell because we want to provide pets with the highest level of healthcare. If you’re faced with an emergency, we are available regardless of the time providing our own out of hours service 24 hours a day. We have appointments available at Southwell Monday-Friday with routine consultations available on a Saturday and Sunday at our Newark surgery. If you just want to book your pet in for a check-up, then we’ll gladly arrange an appointment at a time that suits you.
